hello. im andre — a creative developer with a background in design and art. as of now, i am using mostly JavaScript and React to develop.
i started out as a generalist graphic designer, exploring many areas of the field over the course of about 10 years. one of the areas i focused on during that time was designing user interfaces and prototypes. in 2021, during the pandemic, i took time away to focus on other areas of my life and relocated to Seattle. after my hiatus, i decided in 2025 to fully transition into web development. with my design background as a foundation, i became curious about how websites and apps actually work—and started learning to build them myself.
im based in Baltimore, md. in my free time, i like being outdoors, listening to music, stock investing, and hanging out with my cat, Bud. i’m always looking to keep learning and growing as a developer and human-being.
